What information do we hold on you?

-We collect contact details from you when you use a service such as repairs and special order
-With your permission, we collect details from you when you purchase a product or service, storing your sales or service history against your contact details.
-With your permission, we store your contact details for marketing purposes.
The personal information we collect about you can include your name, postal address, email address and phone number. If you make a purchase by card, we collect your card number & expiry date.

We will not rent or sell your name, address, e-mail address, credit card information or personal information to any third party (excluding partners from whom you may have linked to our site) without your permission. If you have purchased from our store, subscribed to one of our newsletters and entered any of our competitions, or advised us of your email address, post & telephone number we may occasionally update you on news and special opportunities via email, post and telephone.

We will use the personal information gathered in our normal course of business primarily to provide the services, offers, or news you have requested, also for administrative purposes;

We may also disclose information to the investigating authorities such as the police if required to do so. Unless we have your permission, we won't share your data with other company's such as insurance providers. We never sell your data to any third party.

Our retention periods vary depending on the type of data. Card details from transactions are stored for 7 years, in accordance with UK laws/ tax legislation. Marketing permissions are checked a minimum of once a year, the exact time frame may be determined by the frequency of client visits. We have a process to identify and remove historical sales data- data is not stored indefinitely.

Our security procedures mean that we may request proof of identity before we reveal information.  This proof of identity will take the form of your e-mail address and password submitted upon registration. CCTV

CCTV is in place in our stores for security. The recordings are not shared with third parties other than in the event of an incident. CCTV is retained instore for a maximum of 4 weeks.

Marketing

We may consider legitimate interests within our marketing policy. We may post to you if we have reason to believe that the content would be of legitimate interest. An example of this would be posting information on an event or promotion to a previous client.

When you opt in for marketing, we have been authorised by you to hold your data & can subsequently contact you by the methods agreed to, with information of events, promotions etc. You have the right to withdraw consent or change your preferences at any time. Our processes are in line with the GDPR legislation.

Legal basis

When you purchase an item in our online store, create an account with us, or enter into any other form of agreement with us, we will process your conventional personal data for that particular purpose.
